This child has an oversion to bed time, you say to him bed time and he will ask for a story or just come straight out with “no bedtime”, a drink of water or trip to the toilet anything to delay the inevitable. I think it’s his favourite saying. Each night he bothers his big bother, tap dances his feet against the wall, hides is teddies in his draws and then when to put him back to bed to asks for them. He takes his bedding off and makes a new bed on elsewhere in his room. I have monents it drives me crazy and nights sitting by the door telling him to go back to bed, other night I just let him go, he had been put back in a cot to which he climbs out of and does the same thing. Tonight I remind myself that this too shall pass and one day his bed will not even be under the same roof as mine so for now, I will be patient and enjoy all the things that having a toddler brings.
