Thursday Fun

Today while I was busy tidying I heard a cheeky little monkey yell mummy were having lots of fun in Peyton’s room (the same room I use as a studio currently), unsure of what I would find when I walked down the hall towards them I peered in to see what my boys were getting up to.

I walked in and found Emmett jumping upon the beanbag and Peyton below him at giggling like he had never seen something so fun.

Seeing Emmett on the beanbag reminded me of an image I had seen from another photographer (I can’t remember which) that she had taken of a child of similar age on a beanbag in a newborn style pose … So I jumped at the opportunity to create my own.
If I recall correctly she had said something along the lines of does this mean he is still a baby, reminiscent of the newborn she once had.

I am still in disbelief that Emmett decided to play/ humour me and cooperate, so I had to share with you what I captured.

I love the smirk he had when I asked him to close his eyes and his laughter and smile of enjoying our time together creating the photo and memory of this moment.
